The 2025 Macy’s Flower Show was like stepping into a waking dream—an explosion of color and imagination that spilled from the windows of Herald Square and wrapped the senses in petals and perfume. This year’s theme, “Floral Dreams Unfold,” truly lived up to its name, transforming the familiar department store into a surreal garden of wonder.
As a photographer, I wasn’t just documenting flowers—I was chasing moments, capturing the rhythm between chaos and calm in every blooming archway and sculpted stem. Light poured through high windows, catching on dew-like sparkles and casting shadows that danced across velvet petals. The installations weren’t just displays—they were stories waiting to be framed.
There was a hypnotic flow in the way nature collided with fashion and fantasy. Giant dragonflies hovered in midair, vines twisted into impossible shapes, and the air felt thick with magic.
